TERMS AND CONDITIONS
General Terms & Conditions - Effective July 2021
This is in addition where we discussed your wedding and our professional role in helping you plan it.
It is our understanding that, you will retain us as a Professional Wedding Consultant and Wedding Day Coordinator for your wedding scheduled for any items and services.
Description of Services
As a supplier our role includes:
Consultations with you via telephone/email
Assistance in budget determination and breakdown as needed
Discussion of theme, colour, style and complete wedding design
Professional in-person consultation, where required, time on an ad-hoc basis throughout the planning process
We will deliver goods supplied by us to the venue or to your chosen location (when requested). Delivery charges may apply but you will be notified of this once location has been given to us.
As the client, you will rely on me to work as many hours as may be reasonably necessary to fulfil our obligations under this agreement from the moment money has been paid.
We reserve the right to amend our Terms and Conditions at our discretion and these will b kept up to date on our website.
You will make payments directly to Ether Events Ltd for our goods or services. I do not accept any commissions from recommended suppliers and cannot guarantee any service provider’s performance or product.
It is your responsibility to provide me with contact names, telephone numbers and any scheduled timetables for our services involved in the wedding ceremony/reception no later than 14 days prior to the wedding or upon the signing of this letter.
It is also your responsibility to notify me of any changes in a timely manner. We shall not be held liable for any changes made by you or your selected service providers.
We will use my professional judgment when taking action in regard to changes, weather, tardiness, non-performance, etc. based on the situation, time limitations and/or your wishes.
In the event a venue coordinator is on site I will work with you and the coordinator as needed.
Fees & Payment Schedule
Your enquiry and hire items will provisionally be held for 2 weeks, after which time items will then be made available to alterative bookings.
For our services you will pay us a non-refundable deposit of £200. This money is non-refundable due to our services starting with immediate effect and it is for securing the date and the time slot allocation along with the items. A month before the wedding this money will then be taken from the final balance of your booking.
Final numbers are required 3 weeks prior to your wedding
Final or full payment is required 30 days prior to your event. Failure to make final payment or all the payment without prior agreement may result in withdrawal of our services where contact cannot be made and all monies will non-refundable.
PLEASE NOTE: All payments are required either by BACS, cheque or cash and credit card facilities are not available unless the responsibility of the fees is taken by the client.
Please use your invoice number as reference when making any payment and inform us when a payment has been made.
A security deposit of £200 due ten days prior to your wedding date.
Term of contract/ Termination
The agreement will terminate automatically upon completion of the services required or by mutual agreement of both parties.
On payment of the deposit the hirer agrees to and confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Hirers are responsible for hired items from the time of delivery until collection.
Hired items remain the property of Ether Events Ltd at all times
If there is no damage, missing items, or return visits to collect remaining items in the event of items not being available for us to collect, when necessary, security deposit will be returned within 14 days.
The hirer will be notified of any damaged or missing items by Ether Events as soon as reasonably possible. Any items remain the property of Ether Events.
An additional cleaning charge may apply for any spillage of wax, chewing gum or any other staining on hired items.
Changes / Cancellations
Any changes made to these Terms & Conditions must be made in writing and signed by all parties.
Deposit payments cannot be refunded if cancellation occurs even through no fault of the client as work has already commenced from time of payment and slot allocation reserved.
Full balance cannot be refunded if cancellation occurs less than 3 weeks prior to the event.
Payments can be transferred to a later date in the event of postponement at the discretion of Ether Events Ltd.
